About Us

Adaptive Strength Foundation

We believe physical fitness is a fundamental right. We are building an inclusive Canada where strength knows no barriers.

Strength Without Barriers: Our Story.

The Adaptive Strength Foundation was born from the conviction that physical health and fitness are fundamental rights, not privileges. We exist to dismantle the physical barriers that prevent millions of Canadians living with disabilities from accessing safe, effective, and inclusive gym environments. We turn inaccessible spaces into opportunities for independence and strength.

Our guiding philosophy

We recognize that some recreational activities, such as wheelchair basketball or weightlifting, require specialized equipment for optimal performance and safety. Our mission is to bring this inclusive vision to life by directly applying it to the fitness world, providing the necessary equipment to transform community gyms into fully accessible spaces across Canada.

Inclusion

Ensuring fitness is welcoming to all, regardless of ability.

Empowerment

Fostering confidence and independence through accessible equipment.

Transparency

Maintaining open communication and financial clarity with our donors and partners.

Community

Building a supportive network of athletes, partners, and volunteers.
